"Light and Dark, The final battle of the gods climaxed in a war between Martha, Goddess of all creation; and Cardis, goddess of destruction. At the end of their fierce battle, the stricken goddesses had split the continent in two. Since then, people have come to call this new continent, Lodoss, The Cursed Island."
"The Record of Lodoss War” serie is directly inspired by traditional fantasy role-playing games, there are 13 episodes, 4-5 books (at least the 3 I have) and a lot of comics about Lodoss, the cursed Island, and its world, most of them featuring Parn and Deedlit as main characters or at least as "guest Stars" ;). The story is always centered on the war between light, darkness and Karla, a witch born before the battle of the gods, determined to maintain a balance in Lodoss.
